Kids chandeliers, Brass Chandeliers, Modern Chandeliers, Antique Brass Chandelier and more…
Earlier this month, we displayed on this blog a photo of a crystal chandelier shaped like a gun. At the time, we declared it “one of the most absurd pieces of ceiling furniture (we) had ever laid… eyes upon.”
We’re glad we chose our words so carefully, because we recently found a crystal chandelier we think is even more absurd, and would have hated to have to go back and correct ourselves. However, since we said the gun-shaped chandelier was merely “one of” the most absurd things we’d ever seen, we feel no need to self-correct.
Presenting a skull and cross-bones crystal chandelier.
Just like with the gun, we have no idea who would use a crystal chandelier shaped like a skull and crossbones. It seems almost too cartoony to be taken seriously.
Personally, we get more of A Nightmare Before Christmas vibe from it rather than anything legitimately threatening. Maybe the chandelier belongs to Tim Burton?
Seriously though, who could be the owner of this chandelier? A poison-control administrator? A Somalian pirate? The owner of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?
Just another mystery in the twisted world of modern chandeliers.
