Chic Design With Crystal Chandeliers

You may have seen that SNL skit with Scarlet Johansson about chandeliers, or as she puts it, “chanda-lee-ahs.” As humorous as the skit may be it is the truth that chandeliers really can be used for any room and they come in many, many styles. There are plenty of chic ways to incorporate a crystal chandelier into your home decor.

A dining room is the iconic location for crystal chandeliers. You have the option of flush mount chandeliers, vintage chandeliers, or something elongated and modern- like crystal pendants that stretch across the length of the dining room table.

If you want to be daring find lighting fixtures that don’t quite match the decor but complement color-wise. Put something whimsical in a serious room to lighten the atmosphere. A little quirk goes a long way.

On the other hand, if you want something strikingly traditional you can buy a big gold or brass chandelier and place it in a room with Victorian furniture.

There really are no limits to the application of chandeliers in your home.
